The Swedish American Chamber of Commerce of Minnesota is proud to announce special guest speaker Alexander O. Crawford, Tällberg Foundation, Sweden. In celebration of his first visit to Minnesota, Mr. Crawford will discuss his work and research with the Tällberg Foundation.

Alexander O. Crawford is the research director and project director at the Tällberg Foundation. He has been project leader for the Tällberg Forum since 2008, and is an experienced analyst of economic, social and political trends, exploring the causes and consequences of global developments. He has been involved with the Tällberg Foundation since the 1990’s. Previously, he worked as a consultant and analyst, focusing on business environment analyses, scenario planning, strategy development and regional studies. Alexander is 45 years old and grew up in the USA, France and Switzerland. He studied economics, first at the University of Paris and then at the London School of Economics, from which he earned a B.Sc.(Econ) degree. He holds Swedish and American passports, is married with two children (13 and 11 years) and currently lives in Stockholm.

The Tällberg Foundation is an independent nonprofit "think-and-do-tank" based in Stockholm, Sweden. Since 1981, the Tällberg Foundation has established itself as a globally recognized meeting convener and contributed to deepening our understanding of today's world and the consequences of global interdependence for business and society. The foundation's main focus of activity is to gather leaders from around the world and from a variety of backgrounds for discussions, reflection and learning about HOW the world has changed and WHAT we can do. Through studies and conversations, the Foundation translates the analyses of emerging global patterns into inspiration for change.
